The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss ofMountaineers (2-1) in Tshwane on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by Suns (2-0) 81-59 . It was a key game for the top position in the league. Suns forced 32 Mountaineers turnovers. The best player for the winners was guard Marcus Mokwena (-1988) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. Point guard Siphumle Qanya (182-1993) chipped in 12 points and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Julian Wright (199-1990) who recorded 13 points and 7 rebounds and Michael Masoko added 17 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Suns keep a position of league leader, which they share with Marlins and Panthers. Mountaineers at the other side keep the third place with one game lost.
